Interplanetary Shock (or CME Arrival)
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Location: Earth
Event Time: 2025-06-13T22:20Z ( DSCOVR: PLASMAG )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
DSCOVR: PLASMAG
ACE: SWEPAM
ACE: MAG
Activity ID: 2025-06-13T22:20:00-IPS-001 (version 1)
Quality of ICME Signature: -1 (unspecified)
Note: Characterized by an increase in B_total from ~8nT to ~13nT, then gradually increasing to >17nT by 2025-06-14T04:11Z. Density begins to rise starting around 2025-06-13T23:00Z and then decreases around 2025-06-14T01:47Z as the solar wind speeds begin to increase and the temperature begins to rise. Additionally, there is a flip in the Phi angle at the initial start time of this interplanetary shock (2025-06-13T22:21Z). A mixed signature precedes the arrival of this signature which appears to be a possible weak CIR followed by a CH HSS.
